Service Canada Centre in Slave Lake Closed Until Further Notice

SLAVE LAKE, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - May 18, 2011) - The Service Canada Centre at 100 Main Street South, Sawridge Plaza in Slave Lake has been temporarily closed due to wildfires that have affected much of Slave Lake. This Service Canada Centre will remain closed until further notice.

Service Canada regrets any inconvenience to individuals during this period and would like to advise clients that alternate Service Canada locations can be found at:

Service Canada is working hard to find other ways to restore services to the Slave Lake area. Due to the evacuation of the town of Slave Lake and limited use of power and telephone services, a contingency plan is being developed.
