Service-now.com Expands Executive Team to Support Rapid Growth of SaaS for IT Service Management

Service-now.com Adds Marketing, General Counsel and HR Executives to Extend Momentum

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - July 13, 2010) -  Service-now.com, the creators of modern software as a service (SaaS) for IT service management, today announced the appointment of three new executives to the Service-now.com management team to support the company's rapid growth.

Mark Hamilton has been selected as the VP of marketing, Ethan Christensen as general counsel, and Brant Berg as director of HR. Each fills a newly created position within the Service-now.com executive ranks.

Mark has more than 25 years of global marketing experience with a number of technology companies including Siebel Systems, Baan and most recently as the VP of marketing for newScale. Mark has a broad range of experience in product marketing and management, corporate communications as well as corporate messaging and branding. He has helped technology companies establish leadership positions in new markets while driving revenue growth that led to three initial public offerings.

Ethan Christensen -- Service-now.com general counsel
Prior to Service-now.com, Ethan was a partner in the San Diego office of Cooley LLP. Ethan represented high-growth companies in the software, biotech, medical device and retail industries for twelve years. He represented clients on matters ranging from finance and commercial transactions to corporate governance. He has particular expertise in complex public financing transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, PIPEs transactions and convertible debt and equity financings. Ethan started with Cooley after graduating from law school at the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to law school, Ethan received a degree in electrical and computer engineering from Brigham Young University.

Ethan will oversee the company's legal affairs and manage the ongoing design and implementation of policies, processes and procedures to ensure Service-now.com continues to comply with legal, regulatory and customer requirements in a way that protects the company and facilitates success.

Brant Berg -- Service-now.com director of human resources
Brant has 14 years of experience in the IT market as an HR executive. He brings expertise in recruitment, employee relations, benefit and compensation analysis, and employee training. Brant was most recently the VP of human resources at DefenseWeb Technologies, a subsidiary of Humana Inc., where he provided strategic direction as well as hands-on management of all HR functions.

Brant will take on the development and enhancement of Service-now.com recruiting efforts to match the demands and growth of the Service-now.com customer base. Brant will also lead efforts to help Service-now.com retain the best talent in the technology industry.
