SES Presents at the Asia-Pacific Partnership on Clean Development and Climate

HOUSTON, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- November 8, 2006 -- Synthesis Energy Systems ("SES" or the
"Company") (OTC : SYMX ) today announced that SES Chief Financial Officer and
Senior Vice President of Corporate Development David Eichinger presented at
the Asia-Pacific Partnership ("APP") on Clean Development Climate
Conference in Columbus, Ohio on Tuesday, October 31, 2006. The

The week-long conference, organized and hosted by American Electric Power
(NYSE : AEP ) as a non-government member of APP's Power Generation and
Transmission Task Force, focused on methods to improve efficiency of
coal-fired generation as well as methods to reduce emissions of carbon
dioxide and air pollutants. Up to 100 representatives of APP countries
participated. The U.S. Department of Energy chairs APP's Power Generation
and Transmission Task Force.
SES and other presenting companies (Siemens Power Generation, Shell Global
Solutions (US), ConocoPhillips, and GE Energy/Gasification) addressed
topics covering opportunities for gasification technologies in the power
industry.
