Sevenly Partners With T.A.P.S. & Left Right Left Right Forward March! to Support Children of Our Nation's Fallen Soldiers

Week-Long Memorial Day Campaign Supported by Diverse Celebrities

COSTA MESA, CA--(Marketwired - May 22, 2013) - Sevenly (www.sevenly.org), one of the world's fastest-growing social good companies, has partnered with Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (T.A.P.S.) (www.taps.org), as well as the non-profit movement Left Right Left Right Forward March! (LRLRFM) (www.leftrightforward.org) to launch an unprecedented week-long crowd-funding and awareness campaign to help children cope with the heartbreak of losing a parent who has served in the U.S. Armed Forces. Culminating on Memorial Day (May 27), tens of thousands of people have rallied to this campaign -- which highlights bipartisan support for the T.A.P.S. cause of helping children of fallen soldiers, including organizational endorsement from media personalities like Ben Stein (FOX) and Jake Tapper (CNN).

"Our partnership with T.A.P.S. is an incredibly touching one," said Dale Partridge, chief executive officer and co-founder of Sevenly. "We wholeheartedly support the service of our military troops and will not forget the sacrifice of their families. Through this special partnership, we are raising money, awareness and support specifically to help the children of parents who have given their lives for our freedom, because they are too often left behind."

For every purchase made through May 27 on all products available at Sevenly.org, $7 is donated to T.A.P.S., the 24/7 tragedy assistance resource for anyone who has suffered the loss of a military loved one. The funds will help pay tuition costs for a T.A.P.S. camp where children of fallen soldiers will receive coping skills, comfort and peer support. These children also will be connected to an active service member as a mentor to guide them through life, and help fill the void of losing a parent and a role model.

"There is a miraculous group of men and women who have lost their own loved ones and who have decided that their mission now is to help ease the pain of their fellow mourners," said Ben Stein. "I got to know T.A.P.S. through their 'Good Grief Camps' about seven years ago. I was overwhelmed by the love poured out over the survivors. I was staggered by the courage of the families, by the strength they drew from one another, and by what a difference T.A.P.S. made -- and makes -- in the lives of our hero survivors."

In addition to the Sevenly donation, LRLRFM is sponsoring an "Unlock the Bonus Donation" grant of $20,000, based on the achievement of social media shares related to the campaign for T.A.P.S. LFLRFM seeks to restore civil discourse and civic cooperation between politically diverse Americans by promoting partnerships on projects that advance the common good.

"For a child, losing a parent is absolutely devastating and incomprehensible," said Patti Gross, Senior Development Officer at T.A.P.S. "With the help of Sevenly and the match from LRLRFM, we hope to provide these children with additional ways to cope, grief support and mentorship. We are incredibly grateful for this partnership, and know that it will help many in the healing process."

"To have people of different perspectives like Jake Tapper and Ben Stein come together in common cause and support efforts that we can all agree are important is something we support wholeheartedly," said Trent Christiansen of LRLRFM.

"This is our first campaign to honor and support the people serving in our military," Partridge noted. "Our entire team is excited that it's happening, and that T.A.P.S. is our partner in this effort."
