September 20, 2007 20:09 ET Introduces Touch Screen Table Access in Tully's Coffee Locations

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - September 20, 2007) -, the online home of The San Francisco Chronicle, Tully's Coffee Corporation, and TableTouch Inc, have launched a pilot program that offers free Internet access to the Bay Area's No. 1 local news Web site, TableTouch has manufactured standard coffee tables with built in PCs and an embedded touch screen LCD display. will be available in seven Tully's locations, with a total of 10 tables. The seven stores involved in this effort are: Berkeley, Pleasanton, Corte Madera, and in San Francisco, 100 California, 2455 Fillmore, Embarcadero Center 2 and 425 Market. The Berkeley, Embarcadero Center and 100 California locations will have two tables each.

Through a customized interface, readers will be able to navigate by touch, a subset of's daily news and features. Future functionalities could include online classifieds, purchase of certain goods and services, and merchandising capabilities for Tully's.
