SFIMA Panel Shares the Secrets to Online PR Success

Experts Discuss How to Make the Most of Search and Social Media

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL--(Marketwire - Dec 27, 2012) - Out with the old, in with the new! Companies ready to shift to a more effective online PR strategy will want to attend the South Florida Interactive Marketing Association's first event of the new year, "Using Search and Social Media to Maximize Online PR." On January 10, a panel discussion featuring noted speaker, writer and consultant Lisa Buyer will cover the key ingredients needed for great PR results online.

Buyer will be joined by Toby Srebnik who oversees digital media efforts for well-known local brands such as Aventura Mall and Anthony's Coal-Fired Pizza, and has launched successful campaigns for Dunkin' Donuts and Truly Nolen of America. The panel will also feature South Florida-based attorney and foreclosure defense expert Roy Oppenheim, a partner at Oppenheim Law who gained local, regional and national media coverage using Buyer's social media PR strategies. The discussion will be moderated by Joe Laratro, past SFIMA president and founder of SEO consulting firm Tandem Interactive.

Interactive marketers, PR pros and SEO geeks alike will discover how to mix up search engine marketing, social media and public relations to ensure their stories make it to journalist newsfeeds, search engines, social networks, and directly to the eyeballs of customers. Attendees will leave with actionable items they can implement immediately to create a new online PR routine for 2013.
