NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Oct 6, 2015) - Ms. Shaheena Nanji has pursued her own path in Hospitality Services, gaining her first experiences in her family's roots in this field.

Ms. Shaheena Nanji earned an M.B.A. in Hospitality Finance and Marketing from Les Roches International School of Hotel Management in 2010, a postgraduate diploma in Hotel Management 2009, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology with a Sociology minor in 2008. Additionally, Ms. Nanji is fluent in five languages, including English, Hindi, Urdu, and the Indian dialects of Gujarati and Kutchi.

Beginning her career with Six Senses Sanctuary Wellness Resort & Spa in Thailand, Ms. Nanji was Resort Operations Executive responsible for quality assessment, administrative and operational support to General Manager, Sales & Marketing teams, strategy training and standards implementation across all departments. Ms. Nanji remained with this company when it restructured into The Soneva Group and was promoted to Soneva Group Operations Executive responsible for their properties in Thailand and the Maldives. Two years later, leaving Thailand and relocating to Canada, Ms. Shaheena Nanji was hired by FANS International Hospitality Group as Vice President and Director of Operations.

FANS International Hospitality Group is a leading strategic hospitality advisory and investment firm that offers competitive edge and straightforward solutions to business owners, operators, developers and investors. Currently, Ms. Nanji is Director of Operations & H.R. at Holiday Inn Express and Suites in London, Ontario, a 109 room newly renovated downtown property. Her duties include revenue management, guest services management and support to staff, guest compliance, training, human resources and security.

Ms. Shaheena Nanji was awarded Les Roches International School Highest PGD and MBA Academic Average Award (Valedictorian), John G. Diefenbaker Platinum Award for Honors, Annie Gale Student of the Year, Gold Prize at Western High Speech Competition, and Bronze Prize at Provincial Speech Competition.

Ms. Shaheena Nanji spent time and energy charitably by tutoring refugees from Afghanistan, and continuously supporting the World Partnership Walk of AKDN. Ms. Nanji was a member of the Alberta ISA Students Association President, Pediatric Ward Volunteer Peter Lougheed Hospital, Girl Guides of Canada Leader, Vice President for Secondary Students Social Committee, Primary Education Religious Teacher, Organizer for U of A Head Shave for Cancer, Primary School Children Activities Coordinator and a Habitat for Humanity Volunteer.

Ms. Shaheena Nanji's goals are to continue her personal growth and experiences while helping the community, and to help expand her family's consultancy and investment firm on a global basis.
