Shari's Opens New Oregon Location in The Dalles

THE DALLES, OR--(Marketwire - November 19, 2008) - Shari's chain of 24-hour family dining restaurants opened their 101st location this week with a new restaurant in The Dalles, Oregon.

"We opened the doors for breakfast Monday morning, and our guests have given us a warm welcome," said Craig Kessler, Shari's Senior Vice President of Operations. "Many have been to other Shari's throughout the Northwest, and are happy that we have arrived in The Dalles."

In addition to offering another dining choice to The Dalles community, Shari's also brings new employment opportunities to the area. The restaurant has hired nearly 90 local employees to staff the new restaurant.

Shari's restaurant in The Dalles is located at 503 Mt. Hood Street. The building features an updated design for the chain, with an elevated tower topped with a skylight roof for a contemporary look, while retaining sections of the red tile roof and color palette that customers are familiar with from other Shari's locations. The interior has been designed to be warm and comfortable for customers, with the ability to seat nearly 180 guests at a time.
