Shari's to Convert to Trans Fat Free Oil

BEAVERTON, OR -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 12, 2007 -- Shari's Restaurants, the Northwest-based chain of 24-hour family dining restaurants, have begun conversion of all cooking and deep fryer oils to a trans fat free product.

"Replacing trans fat oil with healthier oils is the right thing to do," said Kevin Bechtel, Shari's Senior Vice President of Menu Development. "This is a practical solution that will have a positive health impact on our guests, while allowing Shari's to provide the quality and flavor-filled products our guests know and love."

This conversion will be completed in all 98 Shari's locations by April 1, 2007.
