Shark Attack Survivor Shares Inspiring Story of Recovery in New Book

Co-Authors Nicole Moore and Peter Jennings Share Nicole's Journey to Recovery in Their Book, "Shark Assault: An Amazing Story of Survival"

TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - January 07, 2016) - While vacationing in Mexico in January, 2011, Ontario nurse Nicole Moore experienced two brutal shark attacks while standing in waist-deep water at a Mexican resort. Nicole lost 60% of her blood from bites on her arm and leg, and was rushed to a hospital where she received a questionable level of medical care that left her and her family confronting physical and mental anguish. Surviving the painful amputation of her left arm and attempts to rebuild her disfigured leg, she has fought on to become a source of inspiration for those facing seemingly insurmountable challenges.

Nicole, along with co-author Peter Jennings, continue to speak to audiences accross Ontario about her journey to recovery. The authors have received media attention on CTV News, Sirius XM Radio, CJAD, CFAX, and Rogers Television. For more information about the book, visit sharkassault.com. It is currently available from all major book retailers including Indigo, Amazon, and Kobo, as well as independent bookstores.
