Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, today announced the PN-T321 professional 32-inch class screen size LCD monitor which offers exceptional performance in a compact package. Its LED backlight ensures reliable performance along with reduced power consumption and cabinet thickness, while its "PC-Free" capability enables a USB thumb drive to be inserted into the display for digital signage use and automatic slide show with audio track playback. The ENERGY STAR® qualified PN-T321 is also compatible with Sharp's exclusive SDSS™ Sharp Digital Signage Software.

The PN-T321's 32-inch class (31 ½-inch diagonal) High Aperture TFT LCD panel with 1366 x 768 high definition resolution achieves high brightness of up to 420 cd/m2 with exceptionally wide viewing angles (176°horizontal x 176°vertical). The model's LED backlight provides a bright image, reliability and reduced power consumption (approximately 37-percent lower than previous models). The LED backlight design also contributes to the monitor's reduced cabinet thickness and weight (by approximately 60-percent and 40-percent, respectively).
The built-in USB thumb drive slide show function with automatic playback and selectable image transitions allows the display to be used as a basic stand-alone digital signage system for small businesses. A built-in 8 watts-per-channel amplifier and built-in speakers lend crisp and clear audio to presentations.
The PN-T321 has a wide complement of input terminals, including analog RGB, DVI-D (HDCP compliant), component video, composite video and two stereo audio inputs, RS-232C input and USB slot for slide show (.jpeg or .png) and audio (.mp3 or .wma) files. A stereo line out is also provided.
This monitor is compatible with the versatile and user-friendly SDSS™ Sharp Digital Signage Software package which delivers program creation, registration, scheduling and distribution of pre-scheduled information to Sharp "PN" series LCD monitors. It also supports the VESA DDC-2B (Display Data Channel) Standard for plug and play functionality between compatible monitors and computers. It also conforms to VESA DPMS and DVI DMPM power management standards.
The PN-T321 is certified for 24/7 operation, with a three year on-site limited warranty. ENERGY STAR® qualified, this model is designed to be both exceptionally reliable and environmentally friendly.
