Shaw Go WiFi Access Now Available to Vancouver SeaBus Commuters

Passengers given complimentary access to Shaw's leading WiFi service


CALGARY, ALBERTA and VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Dec. 17, 2015) - Shaw Communications Inc. (TSX:SJR.B)(NYSE:SJR) today announced a new partnership with TransLink to provide superior WiFi connectivity to its SeaBus ferry route.

Beginning this week, Shaw Go WiFi will be available to all SeaBus passengers at both the Waterfront and Lonsdale Quay terminals for free. This partnership will see Shaw Go WiFi installed on all TransLink SeaBus ferries in the coming months. Passengers who are not Shaw customers can enjoy Shaw Go WiFi access by selecting 'ShawGuest' from the list of available WiFi settings and following the on-screen instructions to connect. All Shaw Internet customers have complimentary access to all SeaBus hot spots as part of their subscription.

Owned by TransLink and operated by the Coast Mountain Bus Company, SeaBus forms an important part of Metro Vancouver's integrated public transportation system. The SeaBus crosses Burrard Inlet to connect Vancouver and North Vancouver and ferries nearly six million passengers each year.
