Shawn Anderson Offers Free Success Coaching to Businesses That Give Back

Anderson Seeks to Promote Volunteerism in Advance of Extra Mile Day

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 12, 2014) - Motivational author and speaker Shawn Anderson is offering free, on-site motivational coaching seminars to California businesses that implement a paid volunteering program for their personnel by November 1, 2014. From now until Extra Mile Day, Anderson is offering his services at no charge to businesses with over fifty employees in hopes of promoting corporate volunteerism.

"Nothing speaks more to the message 'We care about making a difference in our community' than paying employees to take an hour or two off a month and get out into the community to volunteer. Hopefully, employees will then catch the 'volunteer fever' and continue to make a difference on their own time." Anderson shares.

Anderson, a top-selling motivational author of six books, is passionately dedicated to empowering others to "leave positive life footprints." Besides writing and speaking, Anderson is the Founder of Extra Mile America, an organization that will lead an estimated 500 cities to declare November 1, 2014, as Extra Mile Day -- a day to recognize the capacity we each have to create positive change in our families, organizations and communities when we go the extra mile. Created in 2009 with 23 inaugural cities, Extra Mile Day was declared by 444 mayors in 2013.

"Instead of waiting for others to step up and create the changes we seek in our community, what if we become the businesses and individuals that volunteer to stand on the front line and make those changes?" Anderson asks. "If a community is supporting a business, doesn't it make sense for the business to give back and support the community?"

Anderson will provide an on-site, two-hour motivational staff training session to California businesses with fifty or more employees who accept the challenge by November 1, 2014. For businesses interested in learning more about Anderson's "Go the Extra Mile" program, they can contact
