Shelfbucks Launches Beacon Technology in Austin's Tarrytown Pharmacy

Roll out of New Standard for iBeacon, BLE, NFC Technologies in Landmark Store Will Be Showcased at 2014 SXSW Conference

Shelfbucks beacons, installed on store shelves throughout the pharmacy, provide shoppers with unprecedented, highly personalized interactions with the pharmacy's extensive inventory of brand products.

Shoppers browsing the pharmacy can interact with Shelfbucks using their iPhone or Android smartphones and instantly receive real-time offers and coupons on nearby products via the retailer's app. Shoppers can then immediately redeem their special offers at the cashier, thus eliminating the need for clipping coupons, online research or showrooming, while saving time and enjoying a superior shopping experience.

Shelfbucks beacons are uniquely optimized for iBeacon, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Near Field Communications (NFC), greatly enhancing the pharmacy's customer communications options and delivering a positive experience to the greatest possible number of shoppers.
