Sherritt to Benefit From Tax Rate Reductions in Cuba

Sherritt International Corporation ("Sherritt" or the "Corporation") (TSX: S) today confirmed that due to a new foreign investment law in Cuba, the statutory tax rates for its Cuban operations will be reduced. The reduction will result in the following rate changes:
