Shift Networks Announces Executive Changes to Build Scalability

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - March 2, 2007) - Shift Networks Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SHF) announced today that it has restructured operations to align customer activations and service with sales operations as it responds to rapid increases to its subscriber base. Rick Christiaanse, Shift's Vice President Indirect Channel will move to lead this new initiative as Vice President Customer Experience and Channel Marketing.

"Shift is expanding into Eastern Canada to capture its market potential of over 200,000 small businesses," said Trent Johnsen CEO of Shift Networks. "We created this new role to facilitate our increased sales pace while maintaining high customer service standards as we focus on expanding our presence in the Ontario market."

The Company also announced today that Rick Unrau has announced his intention to resign as Chief Operating Officer and acting Chief Financial Officer effective, March 16, 2007. Mr. Unrau had a significant role in Shift over the past two and a half years and contributed to the Company's early growth.

The Company has initiated a search to find a permanent replacement to succeed him as Chief Financial Officer and announced that Mr. Peter Oakes has been retained to fill this role on an interim basis. Mr. Oakes brings over thirty years' experience in Canada and the U.S. as EVP/VP/CFO in real estate, financial services, information, construction, and manufacturing. Mr. Oakes' professional/academic designations include CA, an MBA (Richard Ivey School of Business) and ICD.D (Institute of Corporate Directors).
