Shine Holdings Declares Target Market for Breakthrough Process

CARY, NC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 15, 2007 -- Shine Holdings, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: SHDG) identified wastewater treatment plants as a target market for the company's patent pending process for hormone removal in water. The United States has approximately 16,000 operating wastewater treatment systems. Presently, most of these facilities allow the hormones and medications taken by individuals to be passed, unfiltered, back into larger bodies of water. Clean Water Scientific, the subsidiary of Shine Holdings, hopes to use an extremely effective ozone process to eliminate EDCs (Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals), as well as waterborne hormones and other Compounds of Emerging Concern from designated locations downstream of wastewater plants.

Human ingestion of these hormones in drinking water has been implicated in premature human puberty, reproductive diseases in women, and deterioration in human male fertility. Effects on marine life and wildlife have been similarly catalogued. Governmental and scientific studies on EDC effects on human physiology are ongoing, and many laws now address these substances.

Brett Swailes, Shine CEO, states: "Even though our initial target market is wastewater treatment plants, our product line is also intended to upgrade existing infrastructure in other markets. This presents scalable multi-tiered income prospects without additional and costly R&D investments. With this exclusive technology, the company hopes to play a vital role in improving water quality for humans and wildlife, to protect prosperity, and to help preserve the common good."

Public water utilities worldwide are expected to spend multi-billions per year to address this issue.
