Shine Holdings Forms New Subsidiary Company

CARY, NC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 18, 2007 -- Shine Holdings, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: SHDG) today announced that it has formed a new subsidiary, Clean Water Scientific, Inc. (CWSI). This company will focus on developing a method to determine the treatment and control parameters necessary to minimize or eliminate the further transport of hormone compounds to large water bodies.

Endocrine Disrupting Compounds (EDCs) and other chemicals of concern originate from such diverse products as human and animal drugs, and household chemicals and compounds used for personal care. They are practically omnipresent in wastewater wherever modern human habitation is encountered. Numerous substances are consequently released daily into wastewater treatment systems that were never intended or designed to accommodate such materials. As a consequence, these same estrogenic, androgenic, and other synthesized compounds are transported chemically intact and mostly unchanged to the lakes, rivers, bays and oceans that surround us, and into the food supplies upon which we now so heavily depend. The EPA began screening endocrine disruptors in 1998. More than 80,000 chemical compounds have been screened as of the present time.

"I am delighted to be able to contribute to this growing area of scientific and governmental concern," states Mr. Brett Swailes, CEO of Shine Holding, Inc. "It is our intention to build and expand the business of our subsidiary to meet the exploding global market for efficient waste removal. We hope that this environmentally workable and cost effective water treatment will expand the business and add substantial value to Shine Holdings."
