Shine Holdings to Buy Publishing Firm

CARY, NC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 22, 2007 -- Shine Holdings, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: SHDG) has entered into a letter of intent with Alpaca Publishing Group, of Elverson, Pennsylvania to acquire the firm for an undisclosed sum.

Brett Swailes, Shine CEO, states: "When I wrote 'The Cancer Link,' I wanted the book to be distributed and read worldwide. Shine Holdings has the kind of capital wallop to make that happen. Additionally, as our hormone removal engineering studies start to bear fruit, we want to rapidly translate that data into readable project manuals and media kits."

Clean Water Scientific, the subsidiary of Shine Holdings, plans to use its patent-pending ozone process to eliminate EDCs (Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals), as well as hormones and other Compounds of Emerging Concern from locations downstream of wastewater plants. Human ingestion is implicated in premature puberty, reproductive diseases in women, and deterioration in human male fertility. Public water utilities worldwide are expected to spend multi-billions per year to address this issue.
