SHOES.COM Welcomes Two Strategic Marketing Hires for Customer Acquisition and Analytics

VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwired - September 12, 2016) - Online footwear and apparel retailer SHOES.COM, has recently appointed two marketing hires, Bryan Gallipeau, Sr. Director of Acquisition and Stephen Williams, Director of Marketing Analytics.

Bryan Galipeau brings over a decade of digital marketing innovation and success to the SHOES.COM team, where he now leads marketing acquisition efforts as Sr. Director of Acquisition.

After attending Yale University, Bryan became a paid search analyst and account manager for the Rimm-Kaufman Group (RKG), now part of Merkle. Bryan joined Nordstrom in 2007, leading their paid search practice, forming the company's first SEO team and lead efforts toward website optimization and content development.

In 2012 he developed and led Nordstrom's global social media strategy, including paid, earned, owned, as well as content development and customer service. He served as Director of Display Advertising and Media Planning, developing integrated cross-channel media strategies focused on driving both online and offline sales.

"I'm thrilled to bring my deep digital marketing experience, innovative spirit, and customer focus to SHOES.COM," says Bryan.

Stephen Williams has over 15 years of multi-dimensional experience in business intelligence and analytics, marketing, product management, operations, and strategic planning as both a creator and consumer of customer insights to drive business decisions.

"I was attracted to SHOES.COM because I could directly see how my experience will quickly impact the business. There's nothing but upside at SHOES.COM, and getting there is 100% in the control of a highly capable team. I am excited to put my focus, strategic thinking and executional skills to work," says Stephen.

A Stanford graduate, Williams has spent the last 5 years at T-Mobile combatting customer churn, driving it to record lows and leading CRM operations. His previous two years were spent at Microsoft, leading the transition of managing XBOX Live paid services from product to subscription-based management. Previous to this, in his 11 years at Verizon, he was part of the team that launched FiOS TV and Broadband, and led upsell, customer experience, and retention initiatives to further monetize the products.

Newly appointed SHOES.COM President, Bradley Wilson shares in these strategic hires, "Stephen and Bryan are huge assets to SHOES.COM. They are key to setting the company to lead in data-driven online shopping, helping us better understand our customers and provide unique customized experiences."
