Shop.org Elects Responsys CEO Dan Springer to Board of Directors

Interactive Marketing Veteran and Top Silicon Valley Executive Helps Leading Retail Association Scale to the Next Level of Growth and Success

SAN BRUNO, CA--(Marketwire - August 27, 2009) - Responsys, a global provider of on-demand email marketing and cross-channel campaign management solutions, today announced that Dan Springer, Chief Executive Officer, has been elected to and is serving a two-year term on the Board of Directors of Shop.org, the world's leading membership community for digital retail. Shop.org is a division of the National Retail Federation (NRF) and has 600 members, including the ten largest retailers in the U.S. and more than 60 percent of the Internet Retailer Top 100 E-Retailers.

Springer represents the needs of the Shop.org community, provides strategic and financial guidance on the mission, vision, and operation of Shop.org, as well as helps grow Shop.org's membership. All Board members are elected by current Shop.org members and serve a two-year term.
