'On the heels' of Toronto Fashion Week and Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Shops at Don Mills is thrilled to be hosting Toronto's ultimate cocktail party and fashion show on October 25th for the second year in a row. Heart of Fashion, presented by BMO Financial Group, in support of North York General Hospital's renowned breast cancer care facility - the BMO Financial Group Breast Diagnostic Centre (BDC) - will offer an evening of fine food and entertainment. The evening features a unique runway show featuring the fabulous retailers of Shops at Don Mills as well as esteemed designers, Canadian legend David Dixon, Fotini Copeland and Christopher Bates. From the gorgeous tent set up within Shops at Don Mills' European village-inspired outdoor locale to the charismatic charm of host Rosey Edeh, host of The Morning Show and anchor of the News at Noon on Global, the event promises a night to remember for all.

The evening's main attraction - the runway show produced by industry veteran Hans Koechling - will highlight fall fashions from a host of exclusive Shops at Don Mills stores such as Oak + Fort, Madame Moje and Haight & Ashbury. In addition, widely available retailers like Anthropologie, Barbuti, Michael Kors, Mendocino and Browns (among others) will be showing fresh fall looks in the marquis tent erected in the heart of Shops at Don Mills - Town Square. Guests will embark on a culinary adventure by sampling tasting portions of dishes curated by Shops at Don Mills' wide array of restaurants, from Mark McEwan's Fabbrica, to Rose Reisman's Glow Fresh Grill & Wine Bar, Linda Modern Thai and Aroma Espresso Bar, along with many others.

"From designer shopping to gourmet dining and exciting nightlife, fashion truly is at the heart of Shops at Don Mills and we're very proud of the experience we offer our patrons," says Lauren Genz, Marketing Manager, Shops at Don Mills. "Our role within the community is equally important to us. To know that this event will enable improved care for breast cancer patients at such a renowned hospital right nearby makes us especially proud."

With a fundraising goal of $680,000, proceeds from the event will support the BDC's acquisition of leading-edge technology, offering new breast cancer treatments and providing the best possible care for patients and their families.

"We greatly value our relationships with community partners like Shops at Don Mills," says Terry Pursell, President and CEO, North York General Foundation. "This relationship, through the Heart of Fashion, continues to benefit our community by enabling us to demonstrate ongoing leadership in breast cancer care."

In conjunction with Heart of Fashion, Shops at Don Mills will also be offering a silent auction featuring fabulous prizes including $500+ gift cards from many participating fine retailers. In addition, the grand prize is a VIP package to the upcoming Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in London, England, one of the most coveted runway shows in the world that includes two International Business Class tickets provided by Luxury Travel Partner Air Canada.

No matter how guests choose to participate, a fabulous evening is promised to all. General Admission tickets are available for $250 and can be purchased, as well as donations made, at
