Shoreham Advancing Uranium Targets at Bearhead and Favourable Lake Projects

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 14, 2007) - David Bending, President & CEO of Shoreham Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:SMH) is pleased to announce the results from our fixed wing supported airborne radiometric, magnetic and VLF surveys completed by Terraquest Surveys Ltd. in the Favourable Lake prospects area (eastern and western survey blocks) and the Bearhead Lake prospect areas, both located in the Red Lake Mining Division of northeastern Ontario.

These surveys are part of an integrated exploration program, which includes the identification and advancement of prospective uranium targets at Bearhead Lake (Shoreham's Option to earn 70% with RPT Uranium Corp. (see News Release 2007-05 dated March 27, 2007) and within the Favourable Lake Project area (Shoreham's Option to earn up to 80% with Gold Canyon Resources Ltd., see News release 2006-03 dated March 07, 2006). The strongest responses from the airborne surveys were found in the Bearhead Lake Project area and the eastern survey block at Favourable Lake.

Completed exploration activities to date at the Bearhead Lake Project include programs of line cutting, trench and outcrop sampling and ground geophysics. The acquired samples have been submitted to SGS Laboratories Ltd. and Lakefield Research Ltd. for analysis, with results pending that will be news released subsequent to receipt of the assays and presentation review by the Company.

On going prospecting work includes scintillometer surveys, excavation and systematic sampling of trenches. The Company is also performing geological mapping on all of our properties in this region. The overall objective of this entire exploration program is to:

i) identify the most probable targets utilizing airborne and ground geophysics

ii) perform on-site geological mapping and sampling of the identified target areas

iii) evaluate the completed work results and

iv) prepare the selected site(s) for a drilling program scheduled during the winter months when road access will facilitate the movement of heavy equipment (drilling rigs) and manpower. At this time a number of the identified targets are encumbered by water or marshy ground in the summer months, yet become drill accessible after the yearly winter-freeze.

This on going work program is planned and supervised by David Bending, P.Geo, President of Shoreham Resources Ltd. and a Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101.
