Shoreline Energy Announces Executive Appointments and Release of Revised Corporate Presentation

Mr. Trevor Folk, Chief Executive Officer of Shoreline Energy Corp. ("Shoreline" or the "Company") (TSX:SEQ) is pleased to announce the strengthening of its executive team through the appointments of Mr. J. Kevin Stromquist, Mr. David Richard Bell, and Mr. Brian Robert Cumming in the positions of President & Chief Operating Officer, Vice President Operations, and Vice President Engineering respectively.

Messrs. Stromquist, Bell and Cumming each bring an average of 28 years experience to the Shoreline team in the areas of Exploration, Development, Exploitation, Operations, Acquisitions & Divestitures, Team Management and Corporate Governance. All three individuals have extensive experience in the Peace River Arch area of northwest Alberta, the main focus area of Shoreline, experience which better allows the Company to execute projects from which Shoreline will grow production, reserve and net asset value while continuing to identify new opportunities.

Over a career that spans nearly 30 years, Mr. Stromquist has successfully explored for and developed oil and gas reserves as a oil and gas geologist, and has built and managed both small and very large teams which have a track record of posting first quartile results both in Western Canada and oil and gas basins abroad.

Prior to joining Shoreline, Mr. Stromquist was Chairman and Director of Lakeridge Energy Corp., a privately held company which he helped form during the global economic crisis of 2008, and who successfully assembled a focussed core area in the Peace River Arch.

In 2004, Mr. Stromquist was a founder and Vice-President, Exploration West of Iteration Energy Ltd., a TSX listed company which reached peak production and market capitalization of over 13,000 Boe/d production and $1B (Cdn.) respectively. From 1995 to 2004 Mr. Stromquist worked at Canadian Natural Resources Ltd., first as an Area Geologist, then Exploration Manager, ultimately being promoted to Vice President, Exploration in 2003, where he managed a multidisciplinary team operating over 1200 wells in Western Canada, together with numerous land sales and acquisition evaluations of assets worth several billion dollars.

Prior to joining Canadian Natural Resources Ltd., Mr. Stromquist worked at Gulf Canada Resources managing core areas as a senior staff geologist, and completed his B.Sc. at the University of Waterloo. Mr. Stromquist is a member of APEGGA and holds the designation of Professional Geologist.

With the appointment of Mr. Stromquist as President, Mr. Trevor Folk retains the position of Chief Executive Officer, and remains based in Toronto Ontario. Mr. Folk continues to play a key role in the areas of Corporate Finance, Investor Relations, Corporate Governance, and in executing the Company's Risk Management program.

David R. Bell, B. Eng., Professional Engineer
Vice President, Operations

Mr. Bell has over 22 years of operational experience in the oil and gas industry in positions of increasing responsibility and in all regions of Western Canada. Most recently Mr. Bell held the position of Chief Operating Officer of Lakeridge Energy Corporation, a company which he co-founded, being responsible for operating all field, drilling and completions, and production in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.

Prior to founding Lakeridge, Mr. Bell was the Area Engineering Manager – South District for Gentry Resources, where he oversaw drilling, completions and production operations for Gentry's core Princess Property until Gentry was acquired by Crew Energy Inc. in 2008. Prior to joining Gentry, Mr. Bell held the position of VP Production of Castle Rock Petroleum Ltd, as well as senior engineering positions at Seventh Energy, Elk Point Resources Ltd., and Numac Energy.

Mr. Bell holds the designation of Professional Engineer with APEGGA, and received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary in 1988.

Brian R. Cumming, B. Eng, Professional Engineer
Vice President, Engineering

Mr. Cumming has over 32 years of experience in all areas of oil and gas engineering including reservoir development and optimization, economic valuation, evaluation of potential acquisition targets, managing capital budgets, and production operations. Mr. Cumming has many years experience managing annual independent reserve evaluations and in maintaining associated public disclosure.

Prior to joining Shoreline, Mr. Cumming was a Director and Engineering Consultant of Lakeridge Energy Corporation, serving in the day to day role of VP Engineering over the past 18 months, where he was responsible for economic analysis of potential capital projects, reserve audits, partner communications, and in assisting with overall corporate governance and reporting. Prior to Lakeridge, from 2006 through late 2009, Mr. Cumming serves as VP Engineering for Triton Energy Corp., a period which saw Triton's production grow from start up to over 1,100 BOE per day. Prior to Triton, he held the position of VP Operations for Resolute Energy, Engineering Manager for Maxwell Oil & Gas Ltd., and senior engineering positions with a number of senior and intermediate sizes producers. During his career, Mr. Cumming has also consulted to a variety of clients in the oil and gas industry, conducting property evaluations, managing acquisitions and divestitures, exploration programs and reserves management.

Mr. Cumming graduated from Queens University (Kingston, Ontario) with a B. Sc. (Hon.,) in Geological Engineering in 1978, carries the designation of Professional Engineer with APEGGA, and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
