Shoutlet Announces Foursquare Integration to Help Marketers Deploy and Manage Powerful Location-Based Programs

Shoutlet Equips Marketers With the Ability to Integrate Venue Activity and Check-In Data as Well as Deploy New Specials in One Easy-to-Use Platform

MADISON, WI--(Marketwire - Aug 30, 2012) - Shoutlet®, the leading cloud-based self-serve social marketing platform, today announced integration and support of foursquare for the Shoutlet 5.0 platform. Beyond tracking check-ins, mayorship, photos, and tips, marketers will have access to multi-level reports for their locations to keep a pulse on venue activity and visitor demographics. As a result, marketers will be able to plan better location-based specials as part of their social campaign strategy.

Do-it-yourself marketers will be able to do the following activities for foursquare on the Shoutlet platform:

  • Visualize and monitor your foursquare locations - Look at one venue, a specific group, or all of your venues in near real-time to see check-ins, mayor changes, tips, and photos.

  • Report a new layer of data - Get access to check-in demographics (age/gender) and sharing statistics across a specific set or all venues to help make better decisions for future specials.

  • Schedule and manage specials - Set up specials for a specific set or all venues and manage them inside Shoutlet. In the future, marketers will be able to use Shoutlet's trigger-based campaign publishing tool Social Switchboard™ to set up social metrics, like check-ins, to create additional location-based specials or announcements on Facebook or Twitter.

These features are currently available for beta customers, and will be open to all Shoutlet customers in the near future.
