Shuttle buses to service stretch of stations this Sunday

Attention: Assignment Editor, City Editor, Environment Editor, News Editor, Transportation Editor TORONTO ON--(Marketwire - Feb. 27, 2008) - Due to subway track equipment replacement on the Yonge-University-Spadina Subway south of St. George Station, the TTC will be running shuttle buses on a portion of the Y-U-S line from about 9 a.m. to noon on Sunday, March 2.

As a result of the required power cut in the tunnel, subway service between St. Clair West and Union subway stations will remain closed until noon on Sunday.

The TTC will be running shuttle buses, including Wheel-Trans buses for people with physical disabilities, between St. Clair West and Union Stations. The shuttle service will start at approximately 9 a.m. when subway service normally opens on Sunday and runs until regular service on the subway resumes.

Shuttle buses will serve the stops above the following stations on the Y-U-S Subway: St. Clair West, Dupont, Spadina, St. George, Museum, Queen's Park, St. Patrick, Osgoode, St. Andrew and Union.
