Siaras and KVH to Present OpenStack-Based, Hybrid Cloud-as-a-Service at OpenStack Summit in Vancouver

Siaras CTO Sig Luft and KVH director of software development Caleb Crane will deliver a presentation that analyzes real-world use cases being implemented by KVH. In these use cases, KVH employs Siaras cloudScape software in order to offer its customers a "cloud of clouds" service, i.e., an OpenStack-based cloud service with a variety of OpenStack and non-OpenStack public and hosted private "underclouds." The non-OpenStack clouds that can be managed through this multi-layer approach include VMware and Amazon Web Services (AWS), with IBM SoftLayer and Microsoft Azure being added.
