Siaras Releases cloudScape 1.0 (GA)

TOKYO, JAPAN and VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Oct. 27, 2015) - Siaras today announced that cloudScape Release 1.0 is now commercially available to service providers and system integrators. Siaras first announced cloudScape at OpenStack Paris, November 2014, and has been working with partners to develop this general availability (GA) release. cloudScape is a Carrier Class OpenStack multi-cloud platform that integrates hybrid private and public clouds together with orchestration for inter-cloud WAN connectivity. Service providers and system integrators can deliver a hybrid cloud fabric to their enterprise customers, comprised of their own public or managed private cloud assets as well as third-party public clouds such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, IBM SoftLayer, and others. With the growing demand for hybrid clouds, service providers and system integrators need to address their customer requirements that span both the private and public realm.

According to IDC, more than 65% of enterprise IT organizations will commit to hybrid cloud technologies before 2016. A recent Equinix survey of more than 650 IT leaders in the United States, United Kingdom, Singapore, Germany, Brazil and Australia reached a similar conclusion, finding that more than three quarters planned to implement multi-cloud architectures in 2015.
