Sibling's BSN Division Launches Teacher Professional Development on Udemy Global Marketplace

AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwired - Sep 15, 2014) - Sibling Group Holdings, Inc. (OTCQB: SIBE) (www.siblinggroup.com) (the "Company"), an educational technology holding company, today announces that its Blended Schools Network ("BSN") division's teacher professional development courses will now be available through Udemy, the leading global marketplace for learning and teaching online. Udemy is home to more than 3 million students representing more than 190 countries. Greater than 30% of these students consume courses via iPhone, iPad and Android mobile devices.

"Our teacher professional development courses have always been a part of our complete blended learning solution package. Through the Udemy marketplace, we will now be able to reach many more teachers from around the world to help them master new teaching skills to improve student learning in their classroom," stated Jed Friedrichsen, Sibling's Chief Academic Officer.

With more than a decade of experience successfully launching online programs with school districts, BSN is uniquely qualified to train K-12 administrators and educators to leverage technology to improve student achievement. With over 500 hours of content, BSN's professional development courses have already provided a convenient option for more than 30,000 teachers nationwide. Each of the BSN's professional development courses are aligned with the iNACOL pathways to ensure educator expertise in areas such as online learning, blended learning, and learning technologies.

In order to be a part of the Udemy marketplace, courses go through a rigorous review process. BSN utilized the many Udemy resources available to design the best possible online courses. The first course available through Udemy is entitled "Jump Start Blended Learning in Your K12 Classroom" (https://www.udemy.com/jumpstart-blended-learning-in-your-k12-classroom).

Designed for K-12 teachers who wish to implement blended learning in their classroom, this course covers the primary models of blended learning and empowers the learner with skills for implementing the various modules. Through more than 40 lectures, engaging activities, and collaboration with peers, participants build their own implementation plan for using one of the models of blended learning with their students.

BSN will offer additional courses through Udemy in the late fall, including Building Online Programs, Building Online Courses, Online Teaching and Technology Training, as well as Special Education and Social Emotional Learning (SEL).
