Sierra Monitor Corporation Announces Distribution Partnership With Kele, Inc.

FieldServer Protocol Conversion Products for Building Automation Now Available on Leading Distribution Platform

MILPITAS, CA--(Marketwired - April 06, 2015) - Sierra Monitor Corporation (OTCQB: SRMC), provider of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions that connect and protect high-value infrastructure assets, today announced a distribution partnership with Kele, a leading distributor of Building Automation System (BAS) products. Sierra Monitor's FieldServer BACnet Router FS-Router-BAC is now available for purchase from Kele's on-line catalog.

The FieldServer BACnet Router (http://www.sierramonitor.com/connect/all-protocol-gateway-products/fieldserver-bacnet-router) has been certified by the BACnet Testing laboratory (BTL), having successfully passed the Protocol Revision 12 router tests. The product is the first one in its class to pass the new Protocol Revision 12 tests.

Headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee, Kele, Inc. has grown over thirty years to become a global building automation specialty company. With over 800,000 products in-stock from over 300 manufacturers and superior technical support, the company is a trusted "one-source" supplier to contractors and engineers working on any BAS project.

Product Manager Andy Lin at Kele said, "We are very excited to be partnering with Sierra Monitor to bring their FieldServer networking solutions to Kele's customer base. FieldServer is a well-known quality brand and their product development philosophy of making it easy for system integration fits the Kele core value. The FieldServer BACnet router is a very good example of making it easy with simple and useful features such as dual RS-485 ports to handle more BACnet devices and a one-click DeviceFind™ feature to discover all BACnet devices on the network. This router is also the first standalone BACnet router certified by BACnet International. The BTL mark ensures the highest standard for BACnet integration and takes the guess work out during commissioning in the field. We are looking to expand the range of FieldServer networking products we offer to include other protocols, and we look forward to a successful partnership for both companies."

Anders Axelsson, VP of Sales and Marketing at Sierra Monitor, said, "By offering our FieldServer products, starting with our BTL-certified BACnet Router, on Kele's on-line platform, we are making the world's leading protocol gateway technology available to a much larger group of integrators, engineers, and contractors than we can reach directly through our sales force. The opportunity for Sierra Monitor and Kele is significant because FieldServer products are an essential building block for integrators looking to address the requirements of smart buildings, smart facilities, and the Industrial Internet of Things."
