Sigma Announces General Market Availability Of Its Voice Client Services Center

Self-Service Portal Application Delivers Cost-Effective Improvement in Customer Satisfaction

Sigma Systems,, a premier provider and leader in the design, development and deployment of OSS service management solutions, today announced the availability of the Sigma Voice Client Services Centre (CSC), which provides VoIP users with an easy online alternative to speaking on the phone with contact centre representatives.

The Sigma Voice CSC is the latest addition to the company's award-winning Sigma Systems' Product Portfolio, a growing suite of service management applications and solutions for automating delivery of voice, data/Internet, wireless and video services. Targeted at VoIP service providers offering Network-based Call Signaling (NCS)- or Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)-based telephony services, Voice CSC is a Sigma Service Management Application that serves as a self-service web portal. With its robust Application Program Interface (API), Voice CSC can also be configured to integrate with a service provider's web portal environment.

Voice CSC greatly reduces call centre operational costs for routine changes/updates to subscriber's service profile by reducing the volume of call centre activity. The product's e-portal allows subscribers greater autonomy in managing their voice services online. Subscribers can therefore view their account and service information, select new service features and feature bundles, and make changes to features and personal parameters. Self-service also allows a provider to introduce new services that would not contribute profitably if burdened by call centre costs.

In combination with the Sigma VoIP Service Package, the Sigma Voice CSC provides pre-configured support for voice telephony service, voice mail, call feature management, rate centre, Calling Name (CNAM) and Local Number Portability (LNP) support along with long distance carrier choice.

The Voice CSC is currently targeted for deployment at two North American broadband VoIP service providers.
