Sigma Designs' Fast Ethernet-Over-Coax Technology Selected by Eastern India's First ISO Accredited Broadband Service Provider

Alliance Broadband to Deploy Technology for Delivery of IP-Based Services to Customers

MILPITAS, CA--(Marketwire - Sep 2, 2012) - Sigma Designs (NASDAQ: SIGM), a leading provider of System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions for Ethernet-over-Coaxial cable (EoC) last-mile access, home entertainment connectivity and control, today announced that Alliance Broadband Services, Eastern India's first ISO accredited broadband service provider, has selected Sigma's CG3210M and CG3310M HPNA Fast Ethernet-Over-Coax (Fast EoC) chipset for delivery of IP-based services such as broadband, Video-on-Demand (VoD) and Voice-over-IP (VoIP) over its existing last-mile coaxial cable infrastructure.
