Sigma Industries Provides Update on a Fire at One of Its Facilities


SAINT-ÉPHREM-DE-BEAUCE, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Feb. 9, 2015) - Sigma Industries Inc. ("Sigma" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:SSG) provides an update on a fire that severely damaged one of the facilities of its René Composites Materials Ltd. ("René") subsidiary in Saint-Éphrem-de-Beauce earlier this morning. The damaged building was leased by the Company to assemble certain products and its main facility was not affected by the flames. The fire, whose cause remains unknown at this moment, is under control and no individual has been injured.

The Company has insurance policies regarding such events and is in discussions with its insurers. The affected assemblies will be transferred to René's other facilities located in Saint-Éphrem-de-Beauce and Sainte-Clotilde-de-Beauce in the shortest time frame possible.
