(the "Company" or "Bolero"), (TSX-V: BRU), (FRANKFURT: U7N1) announces it has acquired a 100% interest, in 4 additional strategic claims covering over 3,333 acres and substantially enlarging the Red Chris "South" prospect. These new claims are contiguous to and surrounded by Bolero's Red Chris "South" prospect and are contiguous to the Southwest of Imperial Metals Corporation's (III-TSX) "Red Chris" copper-gold property where they have recently announced drill intercepts of 1.97 grams/ton Gold and 1.13% Copper over 528.7 metres.

Red Chris South Map:

Bolero Resources' President and CEO, R. Bruce Duncan stated, "This significant new addition to Bolero's Red Chris "South" prospect not only substantially enlarges the acreage, but strategically positions the entire property "on- trend" with recent drilling by Imperial Metals. Bolero now has one of, if not the largest contiguous land package to the Red Chris discovery, with an active work program now underway. Bolero is currently awaiting the results of geophysical surveys and soil samples from high-priority targets throughout the property. At this time, Bolero has multiple active projects including; drilling about to begin on the Carbonatite Syndicate Rare Earth prospect, a substantial land position and upcoming survey and sample results at Red Chris "South", and the upcoming work program now being developed for the newly acquired "Lucas" and "Nicolas" claims in the White Gold District of the Yukon."

Terms of Agreement:

Bolero will issue to the vendor $10,000 CDN and 250,000 common shares of the company within five days of TSX approval subject to a four month hold. There is no NSR applicable to this transaction.
