On Friday, September 25th, Sandy Pell and Steve Pell of Pellvetica, the creative duo specializing in graphic design, illustration, and custom murals, will reveal 13 new illustration artworks as part of an art exhibition titled "West Coast Wildlife". Accompanying the show, Sandy and Steve will host a silent auction for the sale of an original, hand-painted, 40" x 60" bald eagle canvas, and will donate 100% of the sale proceeds to O.W.L. (Orphaned Wildlife) Rehabilitation Society, a non-profit organization whose volunteers are dedicated to public education, rehabilitation and release of injured and orphaned wild birds. The art exhibition and silent auction will be on public display at Kafka's Coffee and Tea located at 2525 Main Street in Vancouver during regular business hours, and runs from September 25th through to November 9th, 2015.

"We're excited to share these latest illustration works, especially to celebrate our province's abundance of natural wildlife," says Sandy Pell, partner of Pellvetica.

"The West Coast Wildlife exhibition focuses on the nuances and diversity our province's majestic and accessible wildlife population," says Steve Pell, partner of Pellvetica.

As a community hub, Kafka's proudly supports local artists by providing them with an affordable, high-visibility venue in which to exhibit their work. Their walls regularly feature rotating solo and group shows of painting, photography, graphic design and other two-dimensional work.

"We've long been fans of Sandy and Steve's beautiful work and we're so pleased to be collaborating with them on this inspired project to support some of the most vulnerable of our province's breathtaking wildlife," says Michael Schwartz, Curator at Kafka's Coffee and Tea.

"We are very excited to be included in this wonderful event! A huge thank you to Sandy and Steve Pell for their generous donation of the bald eagle canvas silent auction!" says Karen Wheatley, president of O.W.L. (Orphaned Wildlife) Rehabilitation Society.

Opening night of Sandy and Steve's West Coast Wildlife exhibition is scheduled for Friday, September 25th from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at Kafka's Coffee and Tea, located at 2525 Main Street, in Vancouver's Mount Pleasant district.
