Silex Technology Introduces Next Generation USB/Serial Device Servers

SANTA ANA, CA--(Marketwired - June 23, 2016) - Silex Technology America, Inc., a global leader in wired and wireless networking solutions, today introduced its newest USB and Serial device servers, the DS-600 and SD-320AN. The DS-600 is designed to easily connect and share USB devices like printers, scanners, camera, disk drives etc. over a network. While the SD-320AN is the latest device server to connect and share RS-232 serial devices on 802.11 wireless networks to access, monitor and control equipment over Wi-Fi.

The DS-600 features USB 3.0 providing data transfer speeds up to 10 times faster than our legacy device servers. The DS-600 is targeted for OEM device manufacturers who want to provide networking capability to their USB devices. We offer white label service for our device servers and provide our customers the flexibility and option to customize both our hardware and software to cater to their specific needs.

SD-320AN is a dual band serial device server for RS-232 serial devices that need to connect to a secure network. It adds dual band wireless connection to an enterprise class wireless network. It supports wireless security with 802.11x authentication protocols for added security. It is targeted to be the successor product for the existing SD-310AN. It is based on the newer Qualcomm Atheros radio, QCA6234, which is ideal for customers who are looking for long product lifecycle.
