Silken Laumann to Join Blyth Education Faculty!

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - April 12, 2007) - Sam Blyth is thrilled to announce that Canada's inspirational four-time Olympian, SILKEN LAUMANN, has joined the faculty of Blyth Education. Silken's passion for sport led her to establish The Silken Laumann Active Kids Movement, a non-profit organization designed to promote the physical and social benefits of play and sport in children's lives. She is also a chair person of Right to Play, an organization dedicated to bringing sport and play to the world's most disadvantaged children. This season, she will be making stops at Blyth Education's European locations to provide a leadership program for the students.

"Silken Laumann is a remarkable woman and outstanding role model," says Blyth, "and we are very fortunate that she will be an integral part of our summer program this year."
