Silver Pass Event Along Napa Valley's Silverado Trail


NAPA, CA--(Marketwire - Oct 25, 2011) - The Silverado Trail Wineries Association will be presenting their annual event along Napa Valley's road less traveled. The 2011 Silver Pass event begins with a kickoff event November 5, 2011 from 11am-4pm. After the kickoff event, Silver Pass participants will be able to re-use their passes for one current release tasting at all participating wineries throughout the month of November.

This year's line-up will include current release tastings at each of the fourteen participating wineries, library releases, barrel sampling, food pairing, special discounts and much more for all Silver Pass holders. A portion of the proceeds from sales of this event will be donated to the Napa County Unified School District to benefit the Books for Preschoolers program.

Silver Passes are available for purchase in advance with a credit card at www.localwineevents.com or on the days of the event at any participating winery. Pre-sale passes can be purchased for $45. Passes purchased during the event are $50. Groups of eight or more are encouraged to call ahead to the participating wineries that they would like to visit. Silver Pass holders must be at least 21 years of age. Of course, the Silverado Trail Wineries Association encourages participants to drink responsibly and designate a driver.
