Silver Star "13-22" Well Production to Commence June 15th at Joarcam -- Updates Timing of Spud at "Archer-Wildlands" Gas Well, North Franklin

LOS ANGELES, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- June 13, 2005 -- Silver Star Energy, Inc. (OTC BB: SVSE) today announces that the Company has been informed by the operator that the final installation of the pump-jack at the "13-22" well will occur today thereby completing the site facilities at the well location. After today's hookup, the well is scheduled to be on production within 2 days to establish oil flow rates. This will provide Silver Star oil production revenue from the "13-22" well for one half of the month of June.

In addition, the operator of the North Franklin Project has advised that the window for arrival of the drilling rig for the "Archer-Wildlands #1" well is between June 16th and June 21st. After rig up, it is anticipated that drilling to depth should take 7-10 days following which, the well will be completed and tied-in to the pipeline. The Company has stated that it would endeavor to update shareholders as to the timing of drilling with the best information available to us at the time.

The Company is rapidly developing its "core" North Franklin and Joarcam Projects. Silver Star has now drilled two successful oil producers in the "13-27" and "13-22" wells and Joarcam and by month-end will have two natural gas wells online at North Franklin.

Currently, the 38 degree API light oil at Joarcam has been priced at over $66.00 CDN ($54.00 US) per barrel and PGE-Citygate gas pricing in the Sacramento Basin is in the $6.30 per mcf range. NYMEX natural gas futures have risen to between $7.00 and $8.40 giving Silver Star an indication of what future gas production revenue may be during 2005.
