Silver Syndicate Mining Corp. Completes Acquisition of Palisades Furnishings and Changes Name to The 99 Dollar Stores, Inc.

PALM DESERT, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- August 16, 2005 -- Silver Syndicate Mining Corp. (OTC: SDMC) announced today that it has completed the acquisition of privately held Palisades Furnishings, Inc., a Nevada Corporation, which is a concept leader in the retail furniture industry and is currently doing business in Palm Desert, California.

The company's trading symbol shall be changed to the new symbol "NNDL" (OTC: NNDL), effective August 17, 2005. Christopher Kurstin has been appointed as acting President and CEO of The 99 Dollar Stores, Inc., and Matthew Kurstin has been appointed as the company's Secretary. Both gentlemen have been elected to the company's board of directors.

The 99 Dollar Stores, Inc. prides itself on having one of the furniture industry's freshest new marketing concepts, selling quality furniture for $99 or less. Accordingly, the company has plans to leverage this concept and expand its operations throughout the United States over the next three years in order to better serve its customers.
