SilverBack MSP Partners Realize 67% Average Growth Rate

BILLERICA, MA--(Marketwire - May 29, 2007) - In keeping with its corporate mission to convert VARs into profitable managed service providers (MSPs), SilverBack Technologies today announced that its network of partners has seen business grow 67 percent on average in calendar year 2006. The figure refers to the number of customers that SilverBack MSP customers have brought online using the vendor's MSP platform to remotely maintain and remediate core systems, networks and applications.

"By using SilverBack's MSP platform and methodology, our services business has grown 280 percent," said Stephen Wright, principle, Wright Business Technologies, Houston, Tex.

"Since working with Silverback, in the past year and a half we've seen our MSP services business grow from 27 to 64 clients," said Mike Hadley, President and CEO of iCorps Technologies.

"With 40 percent of our business devoted to managed services, we're seeing that side of our business grow by leaps and bounds, helping us realize about 50 percent in gross profits," said Steve Taylor, CTO, Plan B Technologies Inc., a $20 million MSSP and systems integrator based outside of Washington, D.C.
