SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA--(Marketwired - Nov. 18, 2015) - Simavita Limited ("Simavita" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:SV)(ASX:SVA), a global leader in the digital healthcare sector, is pleased to announce the execution of a binding heads of agreement (the "Agreement") with Health Metrics Pty. Ltd. ("Health Metrics"), a provider of clinical care software for the aged care sector. Under the Agreement, Simavita grants a non-exclusive licence to Health Metrics to distribute Simavita's Smart Incontinence Management (SIM™) software in Australia and New Zealand through Health Metrics' eCase® system.

Pursuant to the Agreement, Simavita and Health Metrics will jointly collaborate to integrate SIM™ into the eCase® system and once complete, the integration will result in the SIM™ solution being hosted as a module on the eCase® system.

Health Metrics' eCase® software is a leading electronic solution for Health and Well Being. Amongst other things, eCase® provides a platform for information about each individual aged care resident, their conditions and their personalised care plan. The instrumented 72 hour assessment information collected by SIM™ is an important part of any person centred care plan and information entered into SIM™ will now be able to automatically form the continence care plan data on eCase®. For customers, this will alleviate the double handling of data, introducing time efficiencies and removing the risk of inaccuracies from data entered twice into separate systems.

Modular integration onto the eCase® platform provides seamless access to over 40,000 residential aged care beds across Australia and New Zealand. Under the Agreement, the parties will promote and sell to common and new customers.

Health Metrics is one of the largest providers of clinical software for Health and Well Being to the Aged Care sector in Australia. As such, the integration of SIM™ into the eCase® system will provide Simavita with an outstanding opportunity to present SIM™ to those customers.

"This is a major announcement for both organisations. We're excited about securing this key industry alliance. These partnerships continue to secure our role as thought leaders for the sector. Further, we're proud to be associated with the positive outcomes for the elderly that the leading edge technology from SIM™ can provide", said Steven Strange, CEO of Health Metrics.

"The continence management element of caring for our elderly is vitally important. With integration between SIM™ and eCase®, clinicians who have eCase® will be prompted to run the instrumented SIM™ assessment and incontinence care planning, prompting a best practice approach to incontinence care," commented Simavita CEO, Philippa Lewis.

"We are extremely pleased to be partnering with Health Metrics to integrate SIM™ with the eCase® system. We are confident that this integrated solution will open many doors for Simavita to deploy its unique SIM™ technology. Populating SIM™ data onto electronic care plan platforms already in place will also deliver valuable time savings to carers already using the eCase® system and when combined, the two systems present a compelling proposition for new customers," Mrs. Lewis continued.
