Simavita Limited: Resignation of Company Secretary


SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA--(Marketwired - Dec. 22, 2015) - Simavita Limited ("Simavita" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:SV)(ASX:SVA), a global leader in the digital healthcare sector, announces the resignation of its Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer, Tom Howitt, effective Friday, January 15, 2016.

The search for a replacement for Mr. Howitt has commenced, and in the interim, Ms. Peta Jurd, the Company's Chief Commercial Officer, will oversee the finance and accounting functions of the Company. Ms. Jurd is a qualified accountant and has previous experience as the CFO and Company Secretary of Australia's largest (at the time) private hospital group. Ms. Jurd also has Chartered Secretary and Legal qualifications.

Mr. Howitt's Company Secretary role will be replaced by the dual appointment of a professional Company Secretarial services firm, and the appointment of Ms. Jurd as joint Company Secretary.
