Simba Completes Phase 1 Exploration Program

BAY CITY, MI -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 21, 2006 -- Simba Mines, Inc. (OTC: SBAM) is pleased to announce that it has completed the phase 1 exploration program, consisting of mapping, soil geochemistry, and limited geophysics, at its Cachoeiras de Binga Copper Project in Angola. The purpose of the phase 1 exploration program was to expand the known resources at Cachoeiras de Binga and to further Simba's bankable feasibility study, both of which will expedite the commencement of production at 20,000 tonnes per year.

Soil sampling was conducted at Cachoeiras de Binga to infill data from the Angolan Geological Survey and to extend the known limits of copper mineralization to the north and south of the current drilled area. The soil sampling was completed at 50 meter centres along a 1 kilometre east-west line with 500 meter spacing between lines. A second sample was taken every ten samples and a standard sample added every 30 samples. Complete soil sample geochemistry results are expected shortly.

During this program, basic geological mapping and grab sampling of mineralised float were also completed. As a result of 547 samples taken from both the northern and southern regions of the proposed program, the sampled area now extends approximately 5 kilometres to the north and 5 kilometres to the south of Cachoeiras areas 1, 2, and 3. The samples are currently undergoing certification for export and are expected to arrive in Europe for analysis within the next few weeks.
