500,000 Ringtones Sold Reach Gold Equivalent in Seven Weeks

BELLEVUE, WA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 7, 2005 -- Versaly Entertainment, the leading Mobile Brand Management™ company, has announced that it has sold over 500,000 ringtones of its "Pick up the Phone" ringtone by Sir Mix-A-Lot. MixTone™ sales figures equate positively with gold-level sales listed for popular ringtones via Billboard's Hot Ringtones chart, where the top weekly ringtones often reach sales of 150,000-200,000 units.

Versaly entered an agreement with world-renowned Hip-Hop artist Sir Mix-A-Lot to create and produce hot new ringtones for the youth demographic in November of last year. Sir Mix-A-Lot is the Seattle-based 17-year veteran rap artist known for such hits as "Baby Got Back," 1992's Grammy-winner for Best Rap Solo Performance, "My Posse's On Broadway" from the platinum album "Swass," and "Two Horse." Anticipating a modest reaction, Sir Mix-A-Lot is pleasantly shocked by the response of cell phone customers.
