Sitecore Moves Into One Microsoft Way
Sitecore Partners and Customers Can Collaborate on Product Development and Go-to-Market Initiatives at the Redmond Facility
SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - December 27, 2010) - Sitecore today announced that it has expanded its commitment to the Microsoft platform by participating as a Project Partner in the Microsoft Partner Solutions Center (MPSC). MPSC is a facility designed to bring together world-class technology companies dedicated to the rapid development of secure, end-to-end business solutions for enterprise customers and partners.
"The MPSC, located in the heart of the Microsoft campus in Redmond, WA, offers customers and partners an environment where industry leaders and talented innovators collaborate in a single setting," said David Hayes, Microsoft Partner Solutions Center director, Microsoft Corporation. "We provide a place where innovators like Sitecore can evaluate, plan, build and deploy solutions faster and with more flexibility, using the Microsoft platform. We look forward to working with Sitecore to provide enterprise organizations and partners with Web Content Management solutions that help them stay competitive in today's global marketplace."
The Microsoft Partner Solutions Center (MPSC) enables customers to match their business and technical requirements to innovative designs based on Microsoft and partner solutions. The center is also designed to engage customers through executive briefings, technology demonstrations, architectural design sessions, proof-of-concepts, training sessions and custom engagements.
"By joining the MPSC, Sitecore will provide deeper customer and partner interaction and support product development collaboration and resource sharing," said Jean-Paul Gomes, corporate vice president, Sitecore. "The MPSC is a place where customer needs meet innovation design and the facility can handle remote or onsite engagements in a lab environment using Microsoft products. The IT engagement lab supports the field sales efforts of both Microsoft and Sitecore, by designing and demonstrating real customer solutions."
"In fact, taking up residency on Microsoft's campus has already yielded great results. We accelerated our release of the cloud version of our flagship product, Sitecore CMS due to our tighter and more immersive collaboration with Microsoft product management and engineering teams," Gomes added.
