SUNNYVALE, CA--(Marketwired - Mar 11, 2014) - SiTime Corporation, an analog semiconductor company, announced that its SiT15xx family of 1 Hz to 32 kHz MEMS oscillators was selected as a finalist in UBM Tech's EE Times and EDN Annual Creativity in Electronics (ACE) Awards in the category of Analog IC Ultimate Products.
The SiT15xx products are the first MEMS-based oscillators designed for mobile and wearable electronics such as handsets, tablets, activity trackers, smart watches, GPS modules and Internet of Things (IoT). Compared to legacy quartz products, SiTime's SiT15xx solutions are up to 85% smaller, 50% lower power and 15 times more reliable.
