SIX Safety Systems Appoints Jay Boehm as Chief Technology Officer

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Sept. 30, 2013) - SIX Safety Systems, a global leader in worker fit for duty risk solutions, announced today that Jay Boehm has joined the executive team as Chief Technology Officer.

Mr. Boehm's commitment to providing value through systematic innovation has been developed over his 15 year career leading businesses and projects in the technology sector. Prior to his engagement with SIX Safety Systems, Mr. Boehm was Vice President of Technology at iStockphoto, a subsidiary of Getty Images. Mr. Boehm was responsible for web application development, website operations, and physical IT infrastructure. In addition, Mr. Boehm led the development and cloud-based deployment of Getty Image's Enterprise Submission Platform. Before his time at Getty Images, Mr. Boehm worked for Autonomy, having global responsibility for quality assurance within the enterprise solution group, as well as leading application and software development teams on three continents as CTO of the ETalk division. Mr. Boehm's success has been founded in delivering on-time and complete IT projects, which have resulted in significant shareholder value.

In his new role with SIX Safety Systems, Mr. Boehm will directly oversee all ongoing technology initiatives at SIX Safety Systems, including the final development and deployment of the LUCI™ Operator Fit for Duty System, a state-of-the-art, real-time, non-invasive worker alertness/fatigue monitoring technology.
