ORINDA, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 13, 2013) - Less than 250 San Francisco Bay area food lovers have the opportunity to save as they join a fun, culinary tour to sample their way through Orinda restaurants on Tuesday, September 24th at The Orinda Chamber of Commerce sixth annual "Orinda Restaurant Tour." Advance tickets at a $5 per person saving are available only through September 23.
The popular event will take place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Registration will start at Theatre Square from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The actual tour of Orinda restaurants will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. with dessert following from 8:00 - 8:30 p.m. A cable car trolley will ferry guests across town with live entertainment on board by Orinda Idol winners.
Sylvia Jorgensen, Orinda Chamber president, labeled this not-to-miss event as the city's "best couples' night on the town," adding, "This is a great opportunity to support our community while enjoying all the latest offerings by Orinda's fine restaurants! Now is the time to get tickets at a savings."
Each restaurant on the tour will provide a small portion that best represents the establishment at no cost to the event ticket holders. The cost of an advance individual ticket will be $40. Tickets may be reserved in advance using a major credit card at the Orinda Chamber of Commerce web site -- www.orindachamber.org/OrindaRestaurantTour2013.htm. Reservations are limited to 250 ticket holders, so attendees are encouraged to reserve now. If available, tickets on the day of the event will be $45.
The Restaurant Tour is one of the "Celebrate September in Orinda" series of events including Friday's "Dancing With The Cars" party on Sep. 20, the free Saturday "Orinda Classic Car Show" on Sep. 21 and "Speed on the Screen" Movie Night on Sunday, Sep 22.
