Enjoy a Traditional Meal With a Florida Twist on a Sunset Dinner Cruise

At the Tarpon House, one of the best Sanibel Island restaurants, our special Thanksgiving menu starts with a variety of appetizing items, including corn chowder, autumnal vegetable succotash salad, fingerling potato salad and assorted bakery breads. For the main event, choose from traditional roasted turkey, deep-fried Southern turkey, garlic-studded leg of lamb or honey-roasted ham. Of course, man cannot survive on meat alone. Sides include sweet potato puree; sausage, green apple and sage stuffing; and a medley of vegetables such as green beans, carrots and zucchini. And, if you've still got room left over, choose from three types of cake (red velvet, carrot and Extreme Madness); seven types of pie (everything from pumpkin and apple to Kentucky bourbon pecan and sugar-free cherry) and other sweet treats. The Thanksgiving buffet at the Tarpon house is open from 12 to 9pm for $50 per adult, $30 for kids 12 and under, and free for ages 4 and under.
